One man dead, another seriously injured after falling out of tour bus window following brewery tour

A trip home from a New Hampshire brewery ended tragically on Saturday night in Shirley, when two men who possibly engaged in “friendly horseplay’’ fell out of the bathroom window of a tour bus, with one man dying and the other suffering serious injuries, State Police said.

While authorities released few details about the episode, the family of the man identified as the deceased, Thomas Johnson, 31, of Gardner, are desperately searching for answers.



"I’m very confused [about] how two people could fall out of a window on a bus," said Johnson’s mother, Katherine Roza of Lake Elsinore, Calif., in an emotional statement.

"This is ridiculous. There’s some kind of negligence here." State Police said in a statement that alcohol was believed to be a factor in the men’s fall.
