Online blind date goes horribly wrong

Canadian police were called to a Barrie, Ontario, coffee shop following a report of a domestic dispute.

A man had arranged to meet with a woman he met online there. However, the date turned out to be his current girlfriend.



Police say the girlfriend threw a cup of coffee on the man's face and then slapped him.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested by an off duty police officer who happened to be in the coffee shop. She is now awaiting a bail hearing.
