Reporter 'hospitalised after Grammy's speech problems', maybe

CBS Los Angeles reporter Serene Branson was reportedly taken to hospital for tests after stumbling incomprehensibly over her words during a Grammy's broadcast.

Branson appears to say: “Well a very very heavy uh heavy der, bertation tonight. We had a very dares, dareson, fight. Let’s go a bit and have a pet.”

It is feared that she may have suffered a stroke on air. Strokes can cause speech problems in different ways, either by interfering with the brain's ability to recognise and construct words, or by preventing the facial muscles from forming syllables correctly.

However, The Huffington Post are reporting that CBS say she wasn't hospitalised at all, and as a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she was feeling fine the next morning.
