Bill Johnson, of Davidson County's Midway community, said he was walking his dog when he saw the log left behind by his landlord, who had cut several limbs fallen from a tree in their neighbourhood.
Johnson said he immediately went to find his wife when he saw the image. "I don't go to church, but I believe in it," Johnson said. "My daughter told me he was trying to tell me something, but I don't know what."
Johnson said he's not sure what he will do with his divine find, but noted that he's thinking of putting it in the bank.
