Half-naked man charged with automobile homicide

A man found naked from the waist down and inappropriately touching himself after police say he backed over and killed an Ogden man has a history of making unwanted sexual advances, according to court records. Investigators believe Daniel Bradshaw, 45, backed over Brent Bodily in front of Bodily's home and dragged him 14 feet.

Officers said Bradshaw "was acting very erratic when officers approached him," according to the charges. "His demeanor changed several times, very rapidly going from very excited, to confused, to dazed, to agitated, to nearly passed out. This pattern repeated itself several times." Bradshaw was booked into the Weber County Jail for automobile homicide and lewdness among other charges. Police have not yet established a connection or relationship between the two men.

Bradshaw has an extensive criminal history, according to Utah court records, including several convictions for DUI, theft, drug possession, assault on a police officer and criminal mischief.

In 2006, the Utah Highway Patrol was called to a rest stop on I-80 in Summit County on a report of a man "making sexual advances at other males and walking around naked around the rest area." When the trooper spotted Bradshaw, he was "wearing a woman's brassiere and a pair of pants that were not fastened properly." Two truck drivers also told investigators he made advances at them.
