Victoria Beckham has said she is "very excited" at being appointed creative design executive at Range Rover.
The new role for the singer-turned-fashion designer was announced at the 40th birthday celebrations of the brand at The Orangery at London's Kensington Palace.
A smaller, sleeker model called the Range Rover Evoque was also unveiled at the celebrity party co-hosted by Vogue. Victoria will work on a special edition of the Evoque, and called the vehicle "absolutely stunning".
She said she was looking forward to "everything" about the collaboration. "It's an incredible opportunity I've been given. I'm very excited."
Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman said she had been responsible for introducing the former Spice Girl to the car company.
She said: "I'm very pleased that I made the introduction. I thought of her because she has a British fashion company, so this is a new brand merging with an old brand."
